More About This Experience
Some of Yogyakarta's most unique dishes can be found in the wee hours of the morning in and around traditional local markets. It's no wonder that we find our guests so pleasantly surprised to discover these dishes not typically found at other times of the day.
This one-of-a-kind tour begins at 7 am (or earlier upon request) at the fringes of a traditional market. The tour carves its way in and out of the market, through narrow and sometimes crowded alleyways, but always stopping by at different vendors to sample a wide array of morning delicacies.
From Instagram famous stall that sells Cakwe (Chinese style fried churros) to another selling five different varieties of porridge, both of the sweet and savory kind, to the more ubiquitous Soto, this culinary adventure is filled with surprises and sure to please your taste buds. A hearty breakfast awaits! And for those that need their dose of cuppa in the morning, we have a special brew for you too! ;)
