More About This Experience

Mehendi or Henna is a traditional form of make up famous from North Africa to India, though orginally, it came from India. Similar to ephemeral tattoos, Mehendi is a mixture of plant (henna) powder, turned into a paste and applied on skin by women artists, forming refined and beautifully designed arabesques, flowers and other intricated and sophisticated patterns. Used during several important ceremonies and events of life like weddings or religious celebrations, come and discover with Hema, Mehendi expert, the true meaning of Mehendi, its preparation and creation. You will learn the art of mehendi from A to Z: preparing the henna paste, making the cone on which you will pour the paste and then draw first on draft paper some basic patterns before, if you want, try on your own hands.
