More About This Experience

The Vietnamese massage has been in practice for centuries. Born from the Chinese method of therapy, the Vietnamese massage is distinct in its own right, morphed into a soothing therapy from its original raw form. It involves kneading and working out the knots in the muscles unlike the Thai massage that focuses more on stretching and muscle and limb movements. If one has traveled thoroughly around South East Asia, the massage experiences of the orient is a lingering memory of calm and relaxation you take home with you. From Cambodia to Indonesia, all of the distinct massage forms is a much sought after affair for all travelers. At Backstreet Academy, we want to present travelers with the opportunity to take this experience back home in a more tangible form through this workshop. Our intentions are not to make you a professional overnight, but learn the basics and fundamental techniques which you can practice long after leaving Asia. In this workshop, you will learn how to do a full body massage using natural ingredients as a soothing agent. This will be followed by a face massage where our host will teach you how to make face packs from natural easy-to-find ingredients. Come join us and enjoy a truly sensational experience! Note: For 1 person, the workshop takes 1 hour.

It was nice learning the trick and tips about massage. Class was a bit tiring but a fun experience. It was kind of funny because every time the host would demonstrate on my body how to do a particular press, I was wishing that it wouldn't stop and I wouldn't have to repeat the process on my partner....
