We are a small but active community that wants to preserve and practice the traditional art of Jemparingan. We are driven by a sense of responsibility towards the preservation of such a uniquely Javanese tradition and also by a sense of community. We have among our members highly skilled archers who have practiced the art for over 40 years while some who are just starting off are merely 5 - 6 years old. As a grassroots organization, we are proud of our Javanese heritage and welcome anyone who wants to learn and appreciate the art. We have hosted a few guests from Backstreet Academy and we absolutely enjoy the experience of sharing - with that, we welcome you with open arms for what we hope will be an insightful cultural experience for all.
