More About This Experience

I am a passionate cook and love to refine good things. With this workshop, I would like to introduce you to the tropical fruits that exist here in Laos, like passion fruit, papaya, pineapple, tamarind, mulberries, orange and mandarins and so on. Above all, I would like to introduce you to an unusual taste experiences. As you know, nowadays there are imported tropical fruits all over the world. Who were immaturely plucked and offered in the supermarkets for much expensive money and actually taste like nothing. Here you have the opportunity to taste the fruits seasonally and organically. Then I'll show you how to make jam, marmalades, chutneys and preserves! Step by step, you will learn how to take care of the ripe and sweet fruits. At the end you go with a jar of homemade jam back home. The workshop includes a jam and chutney tasting. You can try different variations of my products. I have a small guesthouse 6 km outside the center of Luang Prabang. Either you come to Ban Done Kao with a tuk tuk. We can arrange for your a pick up service from your hotel. You pay 50.000 KIP per tuk tuk to the driver. Or you can spend the night here, so you save on your taxi expenses. www.jumboguesthouse.com Note: The transport Add-On is $6.25/Booking
