More About This Experience
When walking through the streets of Kathmandu, you must have seen beautiful tiny dolls hanging on the shops. These dolls are handmade and normally made using corn husks. paper and saw dust. These dolls come in different sizes and designs. The most popular ones are the ones that shows the traditional way of living in Nepal.
Now you can actually make your own Nepalese doll with corn husks that would have been gone to waste.
You will start with soaking the already colored corn husks, after that the small pieces of corn husks will be put together to make the body and the head. Then you will proceed to make the clothes. After that hair is put up with natural fibers and then you can either make the doll into a keyring or make a stand for it .
They will be given to you in a beautiful handmade box.
Please note that if you are a group you will have to make a similar design of dolls but can choose the clothes and ornaments of the dolls. Also one person will make one doll only ( same design and same gender dolls).
Please note that if you have selected an add on for pick up then we use local taxis.
