More About This Experience

Vietnamese cuisine had become more and more popular in the world. Although pho, banh my and bun cha are all delicious and well-known, Vietnam has more than those. There are some lesser known dishes that we are pretty certain that as a tourist you might not have a chance to venture into because these dishes mostly appear in the home-cooked meal. Join our advanced cooking course to learn the authentic cuisine of Vietnam in general and of Hanoi particularly. You will not just learn cooking but also acknowledge the cuisine culture throughout Vietnam. You will be surprised of how rich it is! The course is in 3 days. Schedule can be arranged with our host and the dishes can be customized if possible. Let us know your preference and we will check availability for you. Day 1: 0800 - 0900: Visit market and learn how to choose fresh and clean ingredients 0900 - 1200: Learn to cook spring roll, bun cha and green papaya salad Also on this day you will learn to make vinegar from fruit (banana/apple) Day 2: 0800 - 0830: Buy ingredients in the market. You will choose them yourself and try bargaining if possible 0830 - 1200: Learn to make banana flower salad, fried chicken with fish sauce and marinated fish with galangal Day 3: On this day we will learn to cook traditional sticky rice with green bean, and use the same rice to make one type of traditional dessert
